In a privileged location in the north of the province of Málaga, surrounded by centuries-old vineyards and majestic olive groves, begins a journey that combines history, culture, flavor, and sustainability. Lasting approximately one hour, this tourism experience is designed for those who wish to immerse themselves in the agricultural soul of the region and understand, in an engaging and approachable way, the priceless value of rural work.

The experience begins with a personalized welcome at the facilities, where an introduction to the natural and agricultural surroundings of SCAAVO and Carpe Diem is offered. Here, visitors will learn about the agricultural legacy that defines this area, and how the vineyard and olive grove are essential elements of the landscape, economy, and local culture.

Next, an immersive video is shown that takes the viewer into the world of the winery, the olive mill, and the olive seasoning section. The video precisely and beautifully illustrates the winemaking process, oil pressing, and olive treatment, highlighting the blend of technological innovation and respect for traditional techniques that defines SCAAVO‘s philosophy.

After the audiovisual introduction, the guided tour of the facilities begins, starting with the iconic Nave Málaga, where the traditional wines that have earned the winery its reputation are aged. The tour continues through the olive mill, the heart of oil production, where the secrets of extracting Andalusia’s liquid gold are unveiled.

The grand finale is a sensory tasting of wines and oils, designed to stimulate the senses and deepen appreciation of the nuances, aromas, and textures of each product. A moment of pure enjoyment, enriched by expert explanations that enhance the experience and allow visitors to truly savor the essence of the territory.

CIVA Centro de Interpretación del Vino y el Aceite

This tour includes an approximately 2-hour visit to our Carpe Diem winery, where we explain the production process from the moment the grapes arrive through to bottling: reception area, hoppers, pressing room, barrel warehouse, bottling line and final product. It also includes a visit to CIVA (Centre for the Interpretation of Wine, Olives and Olive Oil), where you can explore our recently inaugurated museum and enjoy a fascinating journey through the world of grapes and olives, with interactive exhibits, tools used in the past, and the evolution of our winery and products throughout history.

To finish the visit, you will enjoy a tasting of 5 wines in the barrel hall:

GADEA DORADILLA (WHITE WINE FROM A NATIVE VARIETY)

SCAAVO y Bodegas Carpe Diem te invitan a descubrir una experiencia eno-oleoturística inolvidable, diseñada para conectar los sentidos con la tierra, la tradición y la excelencia de dos de los productos más emblemáticos del interior de Andalucía: el vino y el aceite de oliva virgen extra.

En un enclave privilegiado del norte de la provincia de Málaga, rodeado de viñedos centenarios y majestuosos olivares, comienza un recorrido que aúna historia, cultura, sabor y sostenibilidad. Durante aproximadamente una hora de duración, esta propuesta turística está pensada para quienes desean adentrarse en el alma agrícola de la comarca y comprender, de forma amena y cercana, el valor inestimable del trabajo en el campo.

La experiencia da comienzo con una acogida personalizada en las instalaciones, donde se ofrece una introducción al entorno natural y agrícola que rodea a SCAAVO y Carpe Diem. Aquí, el visitante podrá conocer el legado agrícola que define esta zona, y cómo el viñedo y el olivar forman parte esencial del paisaje, la economía y la cultura local.

A continuación, se proyecta un vídeo inmersivo que recorre, desde dentro, el universo de la bodega, la almazara y la sección de aderezo de aceitunas. El audiovisual detalla con precisión y belleza los procesos de elaboración del vino, el prensado del aceite y el tratamiento de la aceituna, destacando la combinación entre innovación tecnológica y respeto por las técnicas tradicionales que define la filosofía de SCAAVO.

Tras la introducción audiovisual, se inicia la visita guiada a las instalaciones, comenzando por la emblemática Nave Málaga, donde reposan los vinos tradicionales que han dado prestigio a la bodega. El paseo continúa por la almazara, corazón de la producción oleícola, donde se explican los secretos del proceso de extracción del oro líquido andaluz.

El broche de oro llega con una cata sensorial maridada de vinos y aceites, diseñada para estimular los sentidos y apreciar en profundidad los matices, aromas y texturas de cada producto.
